We’re so excited to welcome another Collective member  to the team this week. Friends of Radix, please help us in welcoming Kelly Rodgers!

Kelly has moved to LA for the Summer to intern at Radix HQ and we plan on showing her how we do it down in Southern California. If you are planning on attending Silicon Beach Fest this week look out for Kelly and say “hi”!

Where do you go to School and what are you studying?

I will be heading into my senior year at the University of Oregon (GO DUCKS!) and am majoring in public relations and minoring in business administration.

What do you do for fun?

I’ll be participating in my third half marathon come this October and love to travel whenever possible. Finding trendy LA hotspots, watching absurd amounts of Netflix, visiting my family in Sacramento, and discovering awesome hiking trails are just some of the activities on my summer to-do list.

What word or expression do you most overuse?

“You know?”

What is your go-to music genre?

Country, hands down. Any day, any time.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

While my “dream job” is still TBD, I know I want to work with people doing PR, marketing, or possibly brand management of some sort. I eventually want to own my own something, whether it’s my own business, firm, or run my own department within a company.

*Details are subject to change 🙂

Your proudest achievement?

Crossing the finish line at my very first Eugene Half Marathon about 20 minutes faster than I had trained.

If you could travel anywhere right now, where would you go?

I couldn’t possibly choose one, so I would have to say: Thailand, New Zealand, or Australia.

What is your life’s motto?

“If you want to be happy, be!”

  1. […] Kelly: After making the trip down from the University of Oregon, I was in for a whirlwind of a good time as my first few days on the job included creating briefing docs, new business meetings, communicating with clients and media, and helping out the Radix team prepare for Silicon Beach Fest. I was definitely thrown into the fire my first few days here in LA, but I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. […]
