Last week a tape featuring Donald Sterling (owner of the Los Angeles Clippers), cast the issue of racism in America into the spotlight. This week  it was announced that Mr. Sterling  has been banned from the NBA for life and fined the maximum amount allowed by the NBA.  However, the issue of racism stretches far beyond Sterling and the NBA.  If ever you questioned how important sports are to our society, read this story to understand the implications one man’s comment have on a nation intent on equality.

Exclusive: CEO Gurbaksh Chahal Fired by RadiumOne Board

31-year old tech superstar and CEO of RadiumOne, Gurbaksh Chahal, was removed from the company he founded this week following a domestic violence conviction. The move, which the public had been craving for months, finally came on Sunday, as Radium’s board  showed it’s moral compass and ousted Chahal  to the delight of the public. Already an unpopular fellow from his distasteful and obnoxious brush-ins with media in the past (see this Millionaire MatchMaker), Chahal did himself no favors this week as he attempted to defend himself on his public blog (since taken down) and call out his former employees on Twitter.
